Purple Crow Certain soundscapes suit a hybrid digital-physical-emotional environment rather well - this feels like one of those albums for me. The fusion of digital loops and depth of emotion reach symbiotic levels. Example: As a possible alternate Minecraft soundscape: Track one: Water world. Track two: Crevasse becomes cavern becomes days of underground mine battles. Track three: A massive build. Track four: Farming... sunrise to sunset. Yes I'm 'weird'. :> Chaotic Resonance radio - DJ Reptoid.

Tom Rimshot Just moments into this and it already feels like a long lost Ampoule Records release, which for me is always a pleasure. From there it branches out into motorik minimal techno, a bullet train through a silver city, with this Adverb centrepiece. Third cut is a slow burn of low register synth drone and spacious technoid rhythms, and the set closes with a waterlogged buoy of wooden percussion and windswept chords that recall early RDJ a little. Colorful, varied, efficient, a stimulating listen.
